Imaginary Burden, Michael Hannon 1990

This is a single poem by California poet, Michael Hannon. It is printed in Garamont Light in three colors on dampened canary yellow kozo kusaki paper which is no longer available. Bound in an accordion style, the boards are covered in vermillion kyosei-shi. Both papers are handmade from the Fuji Paper Mills Cooperative in Tokushima, Japan. As the text is not attached at the spine, the pages may be pulled away from the boards to stand on their own. The title page and cover decoration are by Carolee Campbell. It incorporates an appropriated ensō or empty circle.

This edition consists of 137 signed and numbered copies.
9.5 inches by 4.75 inches. 15 pages.
